Everything about DLP started way back with digitally restoring old photographs. The amount of history that has graced and been revisited because of my efforts is staggering. The whole point of photographs is to capture that moment in time for us to remember for years on end. But, sometimes those photos don’t get the easy life they were promised. The scanners in use at DLP can sometimes salvage photos in even the worst state of fading. Torn, cracked, stained, or discolored, many times there is hope for the memories you have. Or, maybe you just want to make sure you have something to pass on before the original disintegrates. I’ve been working with old photos for nearly 20 years now, and I am more than happy to make sure your memories are preserved for generations to come.
Typically, most photos are scanned and archived for $8 each. Minor retouching includes dust and spots and some color and contrast fixing (if requested) and can be added for another $6 per photo. Additional work is priced per image as necessary. There is a $50 minimum for scanning and archiving.
